Cemetery/Listing Requirements

Local Cemeteries make their own regulations that are outside the control of a funeral home. A regulation of most cemeteries is the requirement of a burial vault for in-ground burial, enclosing a casket or urn. A burial vault is designed to protect the casket and its contents along with prevention of ground cave in.
