William Macy Obituary

Macy, William M., 62, West End, passed away August 25, 2022 at home. Born May 23, 1960 in Johnstown, son of William J. and Rita E. (Gleissner) Macy. Preceded in death by father; infant brother, Michael Macy; brother in law, Edward Gillin; and girlfriend, Mary. Survived by loving mother; sisters, Michelle married to Jack Lazer, Richland Township; Venetia married to Michael Santichen; and Theresa Mihelic, all of Johnstown; also by numerous nieces and nephews. William enjoyed cars, spending most of his time working as a salesman for Advanced Auto Parts in Sarasota, Florida, upon retiring he moved back home to spend time with family. At William's request, there will be no viewing or service, private burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
