Travis Larsen Obituary

Larsen, Travis J., 38, of Johnstown, PA, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, April 13, 2023, surrounded by loving family and friends. Born March 5, 1985, to loving parents Brian Larsen & Delcia (Labreck) Perrine. Preceded in death by his beloved dogs Bubba & Domino, his older brother Jamie, and Grandma Cindy. Survived by loving wife Krystal Larsen, his beautiful loving daughters, Noelle and Skye, his handsome loving son, Caleb, paternal grandparents Shirley & Albert Larsen, nephews Arron, Ian, and Tyler, and niece Shelby. He leaves behind a wonderful sister Stacie and brother-in-law Joe Worthington as well as a sister-in-law and brother-in-law April and Kenny Stitt. He leaves behind people who stepped up when they didn't need to. His stepdad Richard Perrine and stepmom Denise Larsen. He leaves behind so many adoring friends, too many to list, but he loved you all.  Travis loved to be outdoors. He loved camping, swimming, and fishing. There really wasn't a time when it was nice out and he wasn't sick, but you always saw him outside. He was a big gamer. Travis recently purchased the new Diablo IV Beta game for his PC and was so glad he got to play even just a little bit before going to the hospital. We will be finishing the game in his honor, and I know he will be with us cheering us on as we play. He was a big fan of Dragon Ball (all the shows and movies), Magic the Gathering Game, and Dungeons & Dragons too. He really had a love of Pitbulls and was working on buying another Pitbull before passing. The family is still planning to get another Pitbull. Travis and his family were handling a lot of medical issues in the last few years of his life, and he just loved life and tried to do as much as possible in the small amount of time he had with all of us. Travis will be missed and loved by all. Fly high Travis and enjoy your time with your puppies and loved ones in the great open skies until we are together again. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Pittsburgh Hospital for their care and compassion, as well as the Palliative & Hospice Team. They did everything they could to make sure he was comfortable during his final moments while making Travis's last wish come true, being able to come home and breathe his last breath surrounded by his loving family, and friends. My family plans to hold a service in his memory later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be mailed to:  Krystal Larsen, 1201 Solomon Street Bldg. 10 Apt. 181 Johnstown, Pa 15902.
