Michael Justin Short

Michael Justin Short, 19, was born on April 21, 2003, to Naja Bowman and Michael James Short. He was taken way to soon and departed this earth on August 27, 2022. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Laverne Short and his maternal grandfather, Scott T Lopez. He leaves behind his mother, Naja Bowman; father, Michael Short; Dad who raised him, John Bowman; Grandfather, Harvey Short; and Grandmother, Connie Lopez. He is survived by his siblings, Selena Neff, Torrian Regester, Christian Short, Heaven Short, John McCray, Charles Bowman, Diandra Bowman, Godmother’s, Dionna Harrell, Jasmine Short, Godfather’s Harvey C Short, Terrell Hill, Reggie Stephens, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends including his favorite Aunt Sabrina Rogers, his best friends who were brothers to him and also his Cousins, Shaquan Reid, Orlando Raison, Breon Lopp, Rich Butcher and his other best friends who were like brothers to him, Tymir McDuffie, Gary Hill Jr., Kenny Jordans, Markiy Williams, Dakarai Tisinger, Omar Braswell, Aaliyah Tisinger whom was a very Special friend that he loved dearly, and Keyanni Gateward, his first Love and constant friend. They loved each other deeply and unconditionally. Michael graduated from Johnstown High School in 2020. He loved football, video games, music and his family and friends. Michael will be remembered for his infectious laugh and smile, his big heart, how loyal he was to the people he loved, and how he would do anything for his family and friends. We miss you, we will keep your memory alive, and we will never forget you. Family will receive friends Saturday, September 3rd. from 10:00 a.m. to Noon homegoing service at Works of Deliverance Fellowship, Park Ave. Moxham.
