Smith, Edward C., 75, Johnstown, passed away December 12, 2022 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Born November 4, 1947 in Johnstown, son of the late Charles and Margaret (Hammers) Smith. Survived by loving daughter, Shannon L. married to William Rushin, Clermont, Florida; grandchildren, Zachary married to Emily (Komarni) Moskal and Tyler Moskal; sisters, Beverly Smith, Florida; Maureen Weech, Georgia; and Carol Smith, Ebensburg; also by numerous nieces and nephews. Edward was a faithful life member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Johnstown. He retired after many years of service as a Postman with the United States Postal Service. Edward was a proud U.S. Army veteran and member of the VFW Post #155 in Richland. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing also was a loyal Yankee's fan. Private family viewing and Funeral will be held at Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home of Johnstown, Rev. Joe Brown, officiating.
