Dolores J. Bumbernick

Bumbernick, Dolores J., 88, Richland Township, passed away June 19, 2023 at home. Born October 18, 1934 in Altoona, daughter of the late Herman and Edith (Hand) Boland. Preceded in death by brothers, Donald and Richard Boland; and by husband, Donald Bumbernick. Survived by loving children, Daniel Bumbernick married to Karen, New Braunfels, TX; Thomas Bumbernick married to Karen, Etters, PA; Suzanne married to Robert Hershberger, Sidman; and Diane married to Raymond Cwik, Poolesville, MD; grandchildren, Fr. Joe, Monte, Scott, Josh, Ben, Stacey, Lindsay, Lexi, and Joe; great grandchildren, Declan, Sadie, Evelyn, Avery, Cooper, Aidan, Mylah and Meadow; sisters in law, Barbara Boland, NC; and Mary Ann Boland, Central City. Dolores was a faithful Catholic, life member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Dolores loved her family, she lived for her grandchildren and great grandchildren always excited for "Saturday Pizza Night". Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 22nd at Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Johnstown, where vigil service will be held. Funeral mass will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 23rd at St. Benedict Church, Fr. David Peles and Fr. Joe Cwik. Committal Richland Mausoleum.
